Each year, the School Nurse Organization of Minnesota (SNOM) celebrates the talents of school nurses and other professionals who contribute to school health. Individuals and groups who have made outstanding, timely and enduring contributions to school nursing are eligible for nomination.
Recognition is given for excellence in school nursing, administration of school health services, or participation in projects supporting the health and education of school children in the State of Minnesota and nationally. We enjoy a celebration luncheon in honor of the award winners at our Fall SNOM Conference.
Please consider nominating one of your colleagues! Nomination submissions are due April 4, 2024.
A candidate application form will be sent to nominees upon receipt of your completed nomination form. Candidate application packets must be submitted by the application due date to be considered.
The Awards Committee assigns judges to review and score the nomination folders. Judges will not score candidates from their own district or in a category for which they made a nomination. Selection of recipient will be announced by the Executive Board to the SNOM Board at the August board meeting. The SNOM President will telephone selected nominee. The President will notify the recipient and all other nominees of the results. The award will be presented at the SNOM Annual Conference.
The decision of the Committee is final and not open to appeal. All ballots will be destroyed upon notification of the selected nominee.
